Support Nala

We walk with youth from school to opportunity.

Finishing school is just the beginning. Nala Foundation walks alongside young people, offering the practical guidance and application support they need to grab hold of real opportunities.

Born from lived experience, not charity.

"We know what it feels like to stand at the edge of possibility without knowing exactly how to cross into it."

When you finish Grade 12, ambition and hope should be enough. But the reality is that many young people are left to face confusing applications, funding systems, and heavy career decisions entirely on their own. That’s why Nala exists. Founded by Olebogeng Koatlhai, Nala Foundation is built on lived experience and community. We aren't here to play the saviour, we're here to do the groundwork. We believe in young people, we believe in practical action, and we believe that a lack of guidance should never stand in the way of potential.

For many students, the challenge is not ability. It is access.

Application Fees

Many students qualify but cannot afford the R200–R500 needed to apply to institutions.

Internet & Printing

Without data or access to a printer, essential documents and online forms stay out of reach.

Missed Deadlines

Without guidance, students miss closing dates for bursaries, colleges and university applications.

Limited Guidance

Many families have no one in their network who has navigated the post-school system before.

Information Overload

Too many options, confusing portals and unclear pathways leave capable learners paralysed.

Practical support, not promises.

Flagship

Grade 12 Futures Desk

Whether you're trying to figure out your APS score, getting your documents certified, submitting applications, or planning your next steps, we're right here with you, both before and during results season.

No one should stand alone at the edge of possibility.

This work is about making sure young people are not left alone at one of the most important transition points in their lives. Your support helps us build practical pathways from school into opportunity — with dignity, guidance and real community behind them.
